SURVEY PLANET

After using several online survey applications we realized the limitations of each app and decided to create a better, customizable, and easy survey. I was involved in the development from the ground up: named the app, created the logo, designed the website, and designed the UX. Survey Planet is my first baby, well the first baby that I'm really, really proud of.
IDENTITY
The name, Survey Planet, is reflective of our desire to create a planet of survey's that's not just as diverse as our own habitable rock, but as diverse as the imaginations of all inhabitants. To help communicate this we knew we needed a playful character that was versatile enough for use in the app, promotional material, or even soothing the delivery of a dreaded 404 error message. And so, Answer was born. Answer is from Survey Planet, 'cause that's where the Answers live.

WEB

Survey Planet was designed for all kinds of users, ranging from a group of friends, to market research companies, to white-label surveys. The spirit of the company is fresh, young, and efficient. To show this, we stylized the website with 3D graphics based on office stationary, which I thoroughly enjoyed creating. However, the main strategy for the website was to actually drive the user to try the app.

APP
After numerous attempts, we finally nailed the formula in a three-step process for clear, simple functionality: create, share, and results, all in one screen.

Whether through the website or the app, the user can create a survey with different question types in the same survey (true/false, multiple choice, essays), make answers public or private, include survey participants names or emails, insert a custom logo, display with a variety of themes, colors, fonts, see results of who/how many have answered or not answered, view results in graphs, charts, tables, share on social media or via email, export to Excel, and countless other customizable features.
