Verbal Ink is an industry leader for all writing services: transcription, translation, editing, proofreading, and copywriting. My first small task was to rebrand the company logo, followed by redesign the front site, mobile app, create marketing material, and handle all social media photography. It's also the first US company I worked for, sponsored my H-1B, and allowed me to mature and actualize the type of designer I want to be.

TION
The CEO had an idea of what he wanted and it was my goal to bring it to life for him. The new logo had to keep the essence of what we were replacing, while maintaining the color and font, but also functional for both digital and print.

WEB
With oversight from the art director, I designed all the graphic assets, as well as provided imagery, page designs, and UX. This was for the launch of the redesigned company website in 2011 and adhered to Atomic Design.

THE mobile APP
The Verbal Ink app was developed for people on the go, so they can upload their audio or video files and place an order without having to return to a desktop. The design cleanly laid out our desktop site for the mobile user. However, due to the nature of Verbal Ink's services, the ordering process for first time users can be overwhelming. If someone has never ordered a service before, they don't know what they need and what are the most cost efficient options. Whether it's a long time user working remotely or someone on their maiden voyage in the complicated world of transcription, the Verbal Ink mobile app.

marketing
Verbal Ink does almost no marketing and its client base is largely built from repeat clients and word of mouth. Through the company's website and limited promotional material, Verbal Ink seeks to show it's core principal, "sustainable growth is our goal that drives us to be better." By displaying VI's unique culture and values.
